May 2024 · 2 minute read

The Tide are an American band formed in 2015. They are signed to The Vamps’ new record label, Steady Records, under EMI Universal. They were the supporting act for The Vamps World Tour 2015 and again in 2016. After that, the boys did their own tours and fans are waiting for another.

Fans have been eagerly watching for signs of an album and the boys started a hashtag of #YoungLove which the fans then came to realise it was about their new album.

On Friday 13th, at midnight, their first album was released. Fans were tweeting all day on Thursday and Friday showing how excited they were, using gifs and photos of themselves waiting patiently. Once the album was out in other countries fans were congratulating the boys. They were continuing to do a countdown till it was released in the UK and Europe so the fans began getting #YoungLove trending.

The time came, the silence from the UK fans, and then screenshots and congratulation posts poured throughout twitter as the fans got to grips with the new music.

The new songs are fun, exciting, and they are a new sound for the boys.

The album consists of new songs and old loved songs.

You can listen to the album down below:

Based on the track listing, one of the new songs that appear is “Fire”, which is an original track. This track also features Rich Rocka, also known by his stage name ‘Ya Boy’. He is an American rapper from the Fillmore District of San Francisco, California. He raps during the song and it fits perfectly into the new sound the boys have created for themselves.

As the fans enjoy the new and old songs on their first album they are now eagerly waiting for the announcement of their tour which would be supported by this album.
