Rebelo created joined YouTube on 25 August 2008 with his main channel Typical Gamer. TG Plays, his second channel was created on March 3 2020, after 12 years old his main channel existing. Initially, on his main channel, most of his content was centered around gameplay videos with Rockstar Games’ popular video game, Red Dead Redemption, being the first gameplay video he uploaded.
Eventually, he branched out and made gameplay content featuring some of the most well-known games like HALO, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Minecraft, and Assassin’s Creed 3.
On Rebelo’s second channel “TG plays”, the earliest available video dates back to March 3, 2020.
Rebelo experienced a relatively slow start but did not give up on making content, and with YouTube rolling out its live streaming feature in 2013, his GTA V live streams quickly became one of the most-watched streams on the platform. Rebelo earned his first million subscribers by the end of 2014. Despite his new fame, Rebelo still was not as popular as the other big names of the live streaming world.

Prior to the release of Epic Games’ battle royale Fortnite, Rebelo was granted early beta access to the game and quickly mastered the game. Rebelo soon realized his talent for the game and his Fortnite live streams helped him achieve mainstream success and fame thanks to his pro gameplay.
Rebelo was so good at the game that he turned pro and competed in a number of Fortnite tournaments across America. Currently, his Typical Gamer YouTube channel has over 12 million subscribers and just under 4 billion views.
He usually plays solo. He sometimes pairs up with others and plays arena. He is know for his wide variety of games that he plays. He streams everyday and interacts with his fans while playing. He also has a girlfriend named Samara Redway who he plays with a lot in his streams. His second channel currently has over 3.5 million subscribers and most of it’s content revolves around fortnite tournaments, matches, and experiments with the occasion, prank and reaction video.
