Smallpools Release New Single "Million Bucks"

Smallpools is a Los Angeles-based indie pop group consisting of Sean Scanlon (vocals/keys), Michael Kamerman (guitar), and Beau Kuther (drums). On top of having their smash single, “Million Bucks,” off their forthcoming EP, The Science Of Letting Go, the band will also be supporting Misterwives on the upcoming Connect The Dots Tour starting September 21st.

Although they’ll be supporting Misterwives, the band has had quite an experience when it comes to touring. Smallpools has supported bands such as Twenty One Pilots, WALK THE MOON, Neon Trees, Grouplove, and Two Door Cinema Club, as well as playing both Lollapalooza and Firefly Festival.The band also co-wrote the song “Break Up Every Night” on The Chainsmokers’ debut album, Memories… Do Not Open.

According to UPROXX , “‘Million Bucks’ takes all the hookiness of an inescapable summer hit like the ones peddled by the Chainsmokers, but cuts out the drop for layers of woah-ohs, walls of synth and guitar riffs run through effect pedals until they practically sparkle.”
