Not exactly been the best week for Gwyneth Paltrow, has it. This is actually two stories in one, so bare with us. It starts a few weeks back with Gwyneth Paltrow saying she had intended to take a break from acting to spend some more time with her kids. You know, the ones who have the overpriced organic lemonade stand? Yes, them. But no more than a few days after announcing that, she announced (on her blog) that her and her husband were getting  divorce. So the real question here is, is she still taking a break from acting.

The truth is, no one really knows if the divorce news changes the break from Hollywood news, because the break from Hollywood news came first, and we are wondering if they are connected. Perhaps she was taking a break to “focus on her kids”, but that may have been Gwyneth Paltrow code for “focusing on my failing relationship”, but now that the relationship has fully failed, what are her plans? Will she still take a break from acting, or was this is all about the marriage?

The NY daily news has a piece about how tough her life is, and how raising kids in Hollywood is super hard, and so on and so forth. She says she has a “one movie a year” rule so she can spend ample time with her family. Yet she also says she is “working on something” so it is really hard to tell what side of the fence she is on.
