R&B star Ginuwine has become the fifth evictee from this year’s Celebrity Big Brother. The US star lost out in a flash vote between himself and fellow nominees Ann Widdecombe, Daniel O’Reilly, Jonny Mitchell and Wayne Sleep.

Arguably, the ‘relationship’ between the US singer and TV personality Ashley James had failed to win him fans with viewers dubbing the pairing as a ‘showmance’. It shall be interesting to see how Ashley copes without the man who’s shadow she’s been in over the past few weeks.

In the ‘Year of The Woman’, the BB house has become largely male dominated with Ginuwine only the second male evicted so far.

Retired footballer John Barnes was the first out earlier this week in a backdoor eviction, after the female housemates chose him to leave over comedian Daniel O’ Reilly a.k.a Dapper Laughs.

This Friday’s eviction will be in the form of a triple eviction, and once there’ll be a battle of sexes task in the next few days to determine which group receives the power of nominations. Whilst we understand the need for a mass cull with several housemates remaining and the final a week away, we wish we had the decision to determine which ones got there.
