General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, May 21, teases that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will vanish during her trip while Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) faces total horror. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) will secretly plot in Port Charles, so there’ll be a lot going on in this special goodbye tribute episode for John Reilly (Sean Donely).
In Ireland, Sean’s loved ones will come together to celebrate his life and mourn the loss. Old memories will be shared and toasts will be made, but major drama will hit soon enough.
For starters, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will drag her feet on offering Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) forgiveness. Anna ignored the warning signs and let Peter August (Wes Ramsey) tighten his grip on Maxie.
Since Maxie is still trying to escape Peter’s clutches and keep her baby safe, Felicia will have some good reasons to hold a grudge.
Nevertheless, Anna will hope she can convince Felicia to let go of her anger. A team effort will be needed since strange circumstances are about to bring some danger. Before we get to that, we should talk about some of the other main players that’ll be part of this special tribute show.
Mac Scorpio (John J. York) will attend with Felicia – and Laura will be on hand with Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) as well.
Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough) will appear along with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and one mystery guest that’s been kept under wraps so far.
Sean’s daughter, Annie Donely, will be played by John Reilly’s real-life daughter, so tune in and watch Tik Tok star Caitlin Reilly take over the role for the day. Annie will find out from Robert that her dad’s case files could be important.
Robert will hope to gain access to them, so Annie may see what she can do.
Anna will also be hopeful about digging around and potentially learning something that could a) save Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and b) sink Peter. Laura will step away from the crowd for a phone call, which may be to Annie’s mother, Tiffany Hill (Shannon Hill).
Although Tiffany will be at the offscreen funeral portion of this event, she won’t actually appear as everyone gathers in the aftermath. Laura will wish she could’ve talked to Tiffany a bit more before she left to sprinkle some of Sean’s ashes at an old village he loved.
That may be why Laura steps out for this call, but it’ll also put her in the position to potentially get snatched. Laura will vanish and leave the rest of the funeral attendees wondering where she went.
Robin will want to find the security footage storeroom, so maybe the footage could offer a clue about who took Laura or where she went.
Anna and Robin will eventually check out what’s on a computer while someone screams in the hallway. Robert will end up looking for Laura in a darkened room at one point, but he’ll run into some trouble of his own when he gets knocked out cold.
Before all the mayhem breaks out, Annie will tell the others about a ring that Sean gave her over the holidays during a moment when he was more lucid. Magnets are drawn to the kind of stone it’ll contain, so maybe magnets will play a role in the larger puzzle that’ll come together.
It looks like there’ll be a paperweight clue along with a set of keys, so GH writers will definitely include some intriguing details. Annie will feel like they’re being targeted, so she’ll be fears about more missing guests and even murders.
There’ll be a feeling of doom and gloom since none of them will understand this threat until things finally start adding up.
General Hospital spoilers say this mystery will center around Annie, but it’ll really be about Sean and the secrets he leaves behind. Monica will have a horrible encounter if a new preview video is any indication!
We’ll see shocked Monica’s glass slip from her fingers and break on the floor.
It seems Monica will see somebody extremely unexpected, so she might spot the mystery guest star that’s been promised.
The show hasn’t divulged the name of that star, but Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) was tied to the original poisoning scheme that Peter copied. We certainly can’t rule out a sighting of Faison in spirit form!
In addition to flashbacks of GH episodes gone by, there’ll be some new details that’ll tie in with a dramatic climax happening later this month. Peter will lose his leverage if a cure for the poison is found – and this trip could be part of how that ultimately happens.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Maxie will keep working on her secret plan in the meantime. She knows she can count on Bobbie to help keep Baby Lou safe, but she’ll have to explain her proposal on Friday and make sure Bobbie’s prepared to take this risk with her.
The plan is for Bobbie to deliver Maxie’s baby in Beechers Corners with assistance from Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), but more complications are on the horizon. We’ll bring you updates as other news becomes available.
