Amy Jade Winehouse, who tragically died of alcohol poisoning in 2011 at age 27, would have turned 33 today (Sept.14).

She stunned the world with her soulful voice, retro fashion sense and two breakthrough albums, “Back To Black” and “Frank” – which won five Grammy awards and re-entered in Billboard’s Top 10 catalog shortly after her death.

Sadly, the star’s complicated private life overshadowed her bright future. By the end of her life, she had become infamous for her personal problems and drug use.

1.”Stronger than Me” at Glastonbury (2004)

Before Amy blew up into major stardom, she made a beautiful performance of the first track on her 2003 album Frank in a small venue at Glastonbury Festival.

In 2007, Winehouse appeared on the Late Show With David Letterman and gave everyone an unforgettable rendition of one of her best-known singles, “Rehab.”

4.”You Know I’m No Good / Rehab” at the Grammy Awards (2008)

In 2008, Amy was undergoing treatment for her drug addiction and couldn’t attend the ceremony in Los Angeles. However, that didn’t stop her from performing live from London instead.
